Well THIS year certainly started off great!

My grandmother's funeral was today. She died last Wednesday (the 14th, aka the day after my birthday). She had a massive heart attack in her sleep so this was something that no one excepted.

It was a completely different atmosphere from when my grandfather died. With him we had 1.5 to 2 months of him just dying so by the end it was sad but there was also relief mixed in with the sadness. This time it was just a complete shock.

Everything is so different now. Since graduating from University a few years ago all I've done is take care of my grandparents and now they're both gone.

My friend told me that time really heals. But it's taking longer than ever.

All that's left for us are memories, and we pick up our feet or dragged them and move on.
