Kobato



I was shocked that CLAMP referenced Kohaku so soon. The connection to Wish was painfully obvious but I still expected CLAMP to drag it out longer. Mostly because CLAMP was always hush-hush whenever anyone asked them if there was a connection between Wish and Legal Drug.

And Kobato's interaction with Fujimoto was so damn cute! With each chapter I end up loving that pairing even more. I really hope that CLAMP doesn't do "the normal" with them. I know making their pairings suffer is their thing but it's time they did another CCS-type manga where there's no angst and everyone ends up happy.

Wait so they confirmed the Legal Drug--Wish connection in Kobato? XD I had an inkling that Wish was in the LD/Suki/Holic universe, but yeah.

...I'm not caught up on Kobato. :D; wanna splain?

Kobato is definitely connected to Wish. Remember those little rabbit messengers that are in Wish? They've been around for a while in Kobato. They've been in contact with Ioryogi and it seems he has some connection with Heaven.

And then in the most recent chapter Ioryogi and a bird overhead Kobato singing and they start talking about Kohaku.


Bird: This couldn't lose to the singing voice of heaven's angels. It's like that famous angel, Kohaku or something.

Ioryogi: You've heard of her?

Bird: Just once, on the bridge in the midst of heaven and the next world. That was a magnificent singing voice.

Ioryogi: Well, Kohaku certainly was good, only at songs.

I don't know if Kohaku (or any of the other Wish characters) will show up but there's definitely a connection between the two series.

My theory is that Kobato is a demon trying to get to heaven and become an angel. And she wears hats to cover teeny horns =3=
