I feel like I'm on a scavenger's hunt!
So I wanted Sims 2: Nightlife so I can have gay vampires. Problem, Nightlife is no longer sold separately here, it's only apart of a package called "Sims 2: Double Deluxe" which includes Nightlife, the original game and something called 'Celebration Stuff'. So I buy it figuring I could just install Nightlife and the Celebration Stuff thing.
Well, I can't. All three games are on 1 disc so I have to remove all my expansions (University, Pets, Seasons and Apartment Life) and the game itself and start over re-installing everything from the beginning. I'm okay with that, it's raining today so I don't feel like doing anything else and I have plenty of time to kill.
But! Are all the expansions in the same spot? Of course not. I've been hunting around the entire computer room and have found everything except for University! (and my original copy of Sims 2 but I don't care about that and it's probably in the same spot as University)
I know it's around somewhere since this computer isn't even a year old and I had it then. I just don't know where it was put after that.
All this for gay vampires!
ETA: Two hours later I finally found it! (although to be fair I was playing WoW during most of that time). I was looking for the normal size computer game case completely forgetting that University is in an old CD-type case. I thought the CD cases were no longer in use by the time Sims 2 was released. As soon as I looked in the location where the CD cases are kept, I found it. >_<
