Gate 7 Chapter 8

(I've been away so I'm currently playing catch-up.)


I don't have much to say about this chapter, except that I love the way the story is shaping up.

Sakura: Since it didn't come like before go easy on me.
Tachibana: If it does, I'll bury you with my own hands.

When it comes to CLAMP that's practically a love confession. It reminds me of that one KuroFay scene from Acid Tokyo where Fay wants to die and Kurogane's like 'If you want to die so badly, I'll kill you myself so live'. CLAMP loves showing love through violence.

I also liked this line:

Sakura; When this is over I'll lick your injuries for you.

CLAMP certainly likes keeping yaoi fangirls happy!

God, ikr? And that scene of KF was in volume fucking sixteen. This is happening in chapter EIGHT.

This series will be fanservice heavennnn. Or actually have, once again, a gay couple that really spells it out, not UBER IMPLIES IT ALL OVER THE PLACE but never says it explicitly.
