I'm back!!
Unfortunately the trip was cut short due to car issues (there's a leak in something) but we still ended up having a blast!
The best part of the trip was definitely yesterday when we went on this whirl pool jet boat that takes you over rapids. It was the most amazing thing I've ever done in my life! It was so cool! The rapids are rated by numbers and we were up to Class 5, which is the highest you can legally go since Class 6 and above is too dangerous. 10 foot tall waves were smacking at us and seriously you have to hold your breath when the waves hit you in the face as you're completely covered for so long and after each run through the rapids the boat would be filled with water up to your knees (fortunately it quickly drains out).
If you want to see what pictures of the boat looks like(couldn't take my own pictures) you can go here: http://www.whirlpooljet.com/07_video/index.cfm (scroll down to the bottom of the page). We were on the edge in the 2nd row, which only the very 1st row beats for wettest. They deck you out in this yellow jumpsuit, yellow rain jacket, these boot things, and a lifejacket and you still end up soaking wet (seriously the outfit does nothing, I think one small spot on my shirt remained dry, lol).

This is from this morning. Down the main tourist street (Clifton Hill). It was early in the morning so no one was really around. It's more impressive when people are around, especially at night.

Another view of Clifton Hill, this time up the street. If you look in the background you can see a red sign with white lettering that says "Thriftlo", that's the hotel we stayed at, so we were right in the middle of things.

Also from this morning. This is the Skylon Tower, which you can go up but we didn't because we had no time. That's actually mist from the falls, blocking most of the view.

This is the American falls (I'm not sure the name of it). The boat down at the bottom of the last two pics are from the Maid of the Mist ride. It's a boat tour that takes you right up to the falls. We were suppose to go on that today but couldn't since we had to leave because of the car.

This is part of the boardwalk next to the falls and you can see part of the Rainbow Bridge in the background that connects the US and Canada. As you can tell nothing was open since it was so early.

Here's the Skylon again. The mist had started to settle down a bit so you can see it better.

Here's the Canadian falls, Horseshoe Falls. That mist is common so it's hard getting a clear shot

Here's the top of Horseshoe Falls, up top is where you can see it curves in the middle of the falls like a horseshoe (hence it's name.

Here's the Maid of the Mist boat out on its first tour of the day. The blue on top of the boat is people in plastic rain jackets...those rain jackets do nothing, lol. The best part to be is up top at the front of the boat since that's where you get the most wet (although we didn't go this time we've gone on it years ago in High School).

This is the Cable Car ride, something else were were suppose to go on today but couldn't once the plans were changed. The car takes you over the rapids and back. This is also to where the jet boat takes you (that river up at the top-right is where it travels down and right around that corner where the rapids you can go over). Those rapids to the right are those class 6 rapids I mentioned earlier that are illegal to travel through. And in some pics you'll notice a piece of land sticking out also on the right, that's the US. ^__^

This last group of pictures comes from Brock's Memorial. Isaac Brock led the British troops at the beginning of the War of 1812. At the time people thought the war would be quick since he was doing such a good job but then one night the Americans attacked the village of Queenston, Brock (who was nearby at Fort George) heard the guns, led the British troops to attack, rushing forward in the front line and was shot and killed by an unknown American soldier. After that we really started sucking in the war, lol (because we're losers :P ).
The thing in the last picture is a Native Remembrance thing. The Native Americans loved Brock since he worked hard to smooth things over between them and the British (he knew they would be helpful during the war).
And that's it since I didn't take my camera with me last night when we were wandering around as we ended up going to the Casino. Woot! I was carded there! Hehe, this is a big deal for me since I don't drink and never been to a casino before. It's fun knowing I look like I'm younger than 18 ^__^

"We Americans are England's children! Sure, we're not as loyal as our goody two-shoes brother Canada - who, by the way, has never had a girlfriend. I'm just saying..."
(Oh btw I talked to that girl who took the boyslut Sai icon. She was nice about it, said she found it on photobucket and didn't know who made it - hehe, since i stored it on my photobucket and didn't know other ppl could search for them if I labeled them... - and said she'd credit you. I also said she could use the other Sai one you made me, since I didn't figure you'd care. ...and now I want more Sai icons...)

That's cool about the girl who took the Sai icon. Not knowing who to credit happens a lot since someone will take it and not credit and then someone else sees it but then has no clue who to credit. And yes I'll make you more Sai icons. :P

Suuree you didn't know them. I bet someone else took that picture and that old woman is really you. Or the man... Ha, I knew you were really a guy!
