Shit, I need a nap
I'm back after taking some time away from LJ. Honestly I just felt like being lazy and checking my flist seemed like a lot of work.
I only got like 5 hrs of sleep last night so I'm currently tired yet I'm also happy. See, every so often I go looking for scans of FAKE since to buy it I'd have to order it through the store but sometimes you'll find volumes that are "Temporarily Unavailable to Order" and I didn't want to run into a situation of starting to collect it and then getting stuck. Anywho a few days ago I finally found the first 5 volumes for download and I'm hoping Volumes 6 and 7 will eventually follow (it seems likely since these 5 where never around the last time I checked a few months ago). I would order them but can't for Vol 6.
I'm seriously lovin' it. Back a few years ago I flipped through the first volume once but passed it up since NY Detectives didn't seem as interesting as Ninjas and always kinda regretted it. I'm disappointed in the lack of fandom though. I can't find a thing that tells me what happens in the next two volumes except Dee and Ryo finally get their groove on in Vol 7 (I did read the one-shot sequel though and know they end up moving in together after Bikky goes to college).
Anime-wise I've been watching the subbed version of Gundam Seed. I've seen various eps of the dub when it aired on TV here but this is my first time watching it all the way through. I had forgotten how much I hated Flay. I felt like throwing up everytime she and Kira touched and laughed when he broke up with her. She's so self-centered, whiny, uses Kira for her own means, cheated on her fiance, acts like she's the only one who lost someone in the war, and does nothing aboard the Archangel even though she's apart of the crew (I guess sleeping with Kira was her duty even though she caused him to start losing it and sleeping in the Strike).

Did you read those two new chapters I posted about a few days ago? :D Fake's being reprinted over in Japan, and Sanami Matoh is writing a few new chapters that are being included in the new editions as an incentive for people to buy the new editions. So far they're chronicling about when Dee joined the precinct.

I really hope the rest of Dee's story gets scanlated (or Tokyo Pop also decides to re-release the series). Haha that jerk of a partner he got doesn't know what will hit him; Dee plus polite and obedient does not compute.
