2 Hot 2 Handle
*grumble grumble* It's been too hot here lately which is why I haven't been around too much as I turn cranky and bitchy.
I read two shounen-ai series from Korea while I've been trying to stay cool (I'm totally blanking on what manga is called there), 'Demon Diary' and 'Boy Princess'.
I first heard of 'Demon Diary' a while ago but never read it because the Korea ones go from left-to-right and that gives me problems since I'm so use to right-to-left (that's my main reason for hating flipped manga, it's so freakin' hard to read). But I decided to give it a try and I thought it was really good! It's about this sweet, naive boy who is choosen to be a Demon Lord and has to be taught by his servant, Eclipse. There's some serious moments later on but mostly it's a fun crack about Raenef becoming the Demon Lord.
After getting through 'Demon Diary' without problems, I decided to try 'Boy Princess' since it had just come across![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
yshare. I hadn't heard of it before but a completed, 9 volume BL story sounded good to me! I didn't quite enjoy it as much as 'Demon Diary' because hated that Jed cut his hair at the end I found the story went confusing at times and with a lot of characters looking alike it at times was hard keeping them straight. It was still really good though. It's about a boy who's sister is suppose to marry a prince from another kingdom but she runs off with a sable boy, so he has to dress up as her and go in her place.
Moving on... I don't have too much to say about the animes I'm watching now. 'Darker than Black' still gets a lot of love from me. With 'Romeo x Juliet', I thought that ep 9 was really good but I've seen the raws for ep 10 and 11 and I'm kinda disappointed in them. Ep 10 doesn't look too bad but ep 11 was boring. It looks like things could be picking up up again though with Ep 12 so I'm still hopeful.
Speaking about anime though, I heard about the thing where the 'Death Note' fansubbers got told to stop by VIZ with only one episodes left. I must admit that some of the fan's comments are amusing, especially since there's no doubt in my mind that someone won't sub the last ep... HOWEVER I think that VIZ is being asses. They had the rights for DN for the past thirty episodes and they should have done something before now if they didn't want people fansubbing the show.
TRC, Holic andKobato out this week...? CLAMP sure does love their fans! Kobato was adorable as always. Ditto for Holic with the DouWat stuff. And since they're right in front of Kohane's house, it's highly unlikely that Watanuki will be in the dream world in the next chapter! Yay! (sorry Sakura fans, I don't want her taking over 'Holic). As for TRC, I love it right now with Fay's past. CLAMP's best stuff is their angst and getting a whole lot of it right now with Fay, makes me a happy fan. I loved how creepy the Emperor looked in this current chapter.
