I seriously can't stop laughing that someone asked that!
Do people not pay attention anymore? Like the whole Holic world = CCS world thing. Clow had been dead for a long time in CCS and since Holic seems to take place in a more modern world (ie, they have computers, the Internet and cellphones where CCS doesn't), he'd be dead for even a longer period. He can't even be reincarnated as a villain since Sakura split his powers between her father and Eriol.
I realize you don't have to read CCS to read and enjoy Holic but a quick Google search should be able to tell you all you need to know about Clow.

But.. srsly wtf @ the Clow being evil thing. He was Sakura's 'father', for crying out loud. And look at his reincarnations! Fujitaka, who's the sweetest guy ever, and Eriol, who might be teasing and manipulative but is adorable and gentle as well D: Wtf're these people on?

The thing is, even if you know nothing about Clow Reed from CCS, it's apparent in Holic that he and Yuuko have been making plans to stop the villain (which is looking like it's going to be Fei Wong Reed) for a while before his death. That's even before the whole Clow Reed is gone/his reincarnation's are split into two people issue.
So...unless they missed some key points in Holic...I don't have the words. :D
