It's a boy!
Okay, here's the deal. I got a 8 week old Shih Tzu puppy on Monday night. He's mostly white with some black on his back and brown on his head. His name is Dexter.
It's really fun watching him play with Brandi since she never had a real playmate before. She's so much faster than him when they get racing around the backyard so he has to try and outsmart her (which isn't that difficult) by figuring out where she's going and then taking a short cut. Their first meeting was funny since Dexter immediately walked over to her, wagging his tail, while she growled a little and hid behind a chair. Before that I had only seen the opposite, where the puppy has been the one afraid and the older dog was the curious one.
He loves to cuddle. Within five minutes of getting him home, he was curled up on the couch next to me, fast asleep. And loves sleeping on top of you in the middle of the night.
I swear though, he's a little rascal. The first night we had him he slept most of the evening and all night til 7am, the next night he's wide awake at 3am, wanting to play. I was awake, so guess who got to try and keep him out of trouble for the next hour and half! He wore me out, not the other way around.
He's also a smart little bugger who tries to test you all the time. He already knows he's suppose to go outside to pee/poop but at times he'll go somewhere inside when you're not paying attention, just to see what you will do. And he mostly knows the word 'no' now, but will do stuff like be playing with a toy right next to the coffee table and reach over every so often to nibble on the wood or on a book, to see if he can get away with it.
He's a lovable little handful. ^__^
In other news I finally bought myself a Nintendo DS last night (the red/black version, one of my favourite colour combos). Yet, mostly so far I've been playing the Game Boy Advanced version of 'Final Fantasy VI', lol. I can't describe how much time of my youth was spent on that game, even after all these years it's still my favourite.
Ahh... so many hours were spent staring at the TV, muttering to myself that I had to get all 14 playable characters to lv 99 just because I could.
This was the game that was responsible for my twincest love since even as I child I saw the subtext that twins Edgar and Sabin shared. XD

Edgar and Sabin. Huh. I never saw anything between them. Though I'd take a Setzer x anyone pairing I suppose ^^

Hmm... Setzer could get paired with pretty much anyone.
