Bleach
Okay, Bleach fans, I read up to chapter 299. That's all the site I was using had so what I now need to know is how far behind I am.
And now some thoughts on Bleach.
I still like the Soul Society arc the best.
Not because I'm some crazy Ichigo/Rukia shipper who thinks that arc makes them canon, but I simply like the Shinigami. It's ridiculous how many characters that were introduced in that arc that I like.
And I like the bankai attack. The only attack I like better is Goku's Kamehameha. I always did have fun with the bankai. You know how it is, you're wrapping Christmas present, get to the end of the roll and find you have a long cardboard tube that can be used as a sword. So of course you gotta stop what you're doing, yell 'BANKAI!' and start jumping over/on furniture pretending your dogs are hollows (unless of course you have an extra roll and someone else so you can pretend you're in a lightsabre duel).
As for the Arrancar and Hueco Mundo arcs, I'll admit I wasn't impressed with them at first but boy am I loving the Hueco Mundo arc right now! The last few chapters really made me turn on the fangirl mode since two of my favourite characters returned. XD
There's nothing really wrong with the Arrancar arc, I just felt there should have been some sort of filler break in between it and the Soul Society arc. Something like the return of Don Kanonji or seeing Ichigo and the others back in their normal lives. I needed something longer than in one chapter they get back to the human world from the Soul Society and then in the next the vizard and arrancar get introduced. Plus introducing two new groups at once really confused me on who were on each side the first time around; I didn't know if the vizard were suppose to be good or not. I do like Shinji though and miss having him around.
As for the Hueco Mundo arc, at first I thought it was too much like the Soul Society arc because again you have a group going to a new place and rescuing a missing companion. The only difference was Rukia and Orihime switched roles and Renji replaced Yoruichi. The other thing I disliked in the arc is we no longer had happy-go-lucky Orihime. Orihime is so adorable, I don't like seeing her all depressed. (oh and I dislike Chad and Rukia getting knocked out so soon, at least now they're finally getting help).
When they started getting into fights, I began enjoying the arc a lot more since it stopped feeling like a Soul Society arc clone as the fights are different. Still though, the only new characters I really care about are Grimmjow and Ulquiorra (and adult!Nel, I wish she had stayed in her adult form).

Yeah, I don't blame you for bitching. Reading everything at once probably wasn't nearly as bad as trying to read it each week.

I'll try not to be bitter here. It looks like it's picking up, and as a whole, I do like the series.
The Bleach fandom sucks. I remember when there were no shipping wars. It made me happy. Now I see Orihime, Rukia and Momo bashing everywhere. Which sucks, because I love the three of them so much.
AND THE LACK OF GOODFIC MAKES ME CRY.

I hate the pointless bashing. It's just so stupid.

Oh god the Momo bashing in the worst. Hello you don't bash Kira. I hate you and your double standards fandom

I don't even understand why someone would have a reason to bash Momo.

Her reaction is no different from Kamui who still insists 8 volumes later that he wants to save Fuuma.
