Woot! First post of the New Year!

Happy 2008 everyone! Ah, I finally feel refreshed! 2007 was a pretty sucky year (2006 for that matter too) but I'm being optimistic for now (things have got to turn around eventually, right? lol).

My first act of the new year was removing myself from [livejournal.com profile] fandomsecrets. I swear it's gotten to the point where every day there was a secret that pissed me off, so I'm better off without it. For this year instead of getting pissed off at fandom so much, I'm going to try and have fun instead. Therefore when I see morons sprouting idiocy this year, instead of bitching I'm going to endlessly mock them. XD

Fandom Secrets makes me angry too, I was actually considering not going there anymore, but it brings so much lulz I can't stop. I'd be more keen on removing the Reborn community myself, but now that I am attached to [livejournal.com profile] reborn_news, it seems that's not an option anymore xD

Yeah, and it's not just the stupid secrets but the comments of people who agree.

It's bad enough when you have one person saying crap like they hate women (not female characters, real women) but at least there you can write them off as one lone, crazy nut. But when I see people agreeing with the statement 'women suck; they're a bunch of cunts' it really makes wonder what's wrong with society (especially when it's women saying that about their own sex).

Oh yes, I noticed that one too.. in fact I responed to that one with the fact that the person who wrote it was probably one of the reasons I'm a lesbian.

That was just.. it was bullshit.
