The Hobbit

So, Guillermo del Toro is going to direct the Hobbit...

AWESOME!

Pan’s Labyrinth is a stunning movie and since Peter Jackson isn't allowed to direct the Hobbit, I think this is the 2nd best choice (especially since he'll be working close with Jackson).

Hahaha, that's kinda scary!

Short version of the story: New Line decided it would be fun not to pay Jackson all the money they owed him for LOTR. So in returned he sued them. Part of the deal that came out of the trail was that Jackson could still be the Executive Producer of the Hobbit and select the new director but he couldn't direct it himself.
