Life's most addicting game...

I want to create a new character in WoW (my rogue needs to go to the Outlands which I don't want to do right now and I'm busy trying to get this pet on my hunter which will probably take a while). But I don't know if I should pick a mage, a paladin or a priest.

I need something that I can easily solo with. I know paladins are good at soloing since my brother plays one and in his words: "Pallys don't die". According to my guild, priests are also easy to level (the first few to 80 were priests and I would have easy access to advice while playing). But I really want to try a mage. They can shoot fire balls! And they have slow fall! (which sadly, I could get a lot of use out of since I have issues with goofing around on the edge of cliffs)

Too many choices! Although I guess it doesn't matter since whatever I don't choose will be picked in a few months.

(maybe I should go with a warlock since I really like that class and I don't have to worry anymore about a long and hard quest to get the mount)

I rolled a second hunter to go BM >< Had to run from dranei newbie zone at level 10, all the way through EPL (hell!) to get to BE newbie zone, just for pets : p

Well, if you want to try a mage, then try one. Personally I couldn't play a caster or a clothie since I need something less squishy. Locks are great for soloing IMO however I haven't played one very far. They're also underplayed so you'd be a little more unique in that regard.

That's worst than someone I know who went from the BE newbie zone to both the dwarf and NE newbie zones for pets! At least she didn't have to run through the EPL!

But the BE zone does have some nice pets so I don't blame you.

The opposite run for Hordies is probably worse simply because there's no way to get around Darn without involving a warlock summon I suppose. That said, I have a friend with a tundra mammoth that probably could've taken me, but I figured the dedicated player would just hoof it.

Good luck on Loque-whatitsname... I thought he was more common since everyone seems to have one now ^^;;; but then again, I saw people in Sholazaar fighting on General over why they shouldn't just kill it on sight. What they should do is put the blue spirit wolves (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/mobs/mob_grimtotemspiritwolf.html) under spirit beasts too because I'm dying to have one... so very jealous of the few lucky hunters who nabbed one back when they were tameable!

I still have to go over to that island at some point to get the exploration achievement. I plan on stripping naked and corpse running.

I've never actually seen someone with Loque’nahak. But I haven't spent a lot of time in any cities recently so that's probably it.

I really wanted one of those wolves. Of course by the time I was ready to get one Blizzard removed it as a pet.
