Fails at the Mall
So I went shopping today because I would rather spend time at the mall instead of being fooled online all day (plus there's some computer virus going around today).
First stop was the bookstore where I looked at the manga section trying to see if they had vol 2 of Vassalord. They didn't have it but I saw this one manga that had a really pretty cover (the cover itself was facing outwards instead of the spine). Really pretty artwork, really nice color combination and as I stood there wondering what manga it was I noticed a small 'CLAMP' in the corner. I then spent a good minute trying to remember if CLAMP had released something new when I finally realized I was looking at xxxHolic and that both Yuuko and the title were simply blending in with the background.
*facepalm* It's only one of my favourite series at the moment and I can't even recognize the damn cover of one of the volumes.
Fail #2 happened on the way home. I was a few blocks away and took a quick glance at a pair of dogs that were on a walk. Even though it was a quick glance I thought to myself "Those are the two cutest dogs I have ever seen!" They were so cute I took another glance, which was when I realized... they were my own dogs!
