I have a ghost kitty. (screencap not mine, I stole it from Wowhead)
I didn't even know he existed, let alone was looking for him. I just stumbled upon him while questing, saw that he was tameable, quickly ran to stable the pet I was using and ran back to tame him. The whole thing took less than a minute.
He's not as good as the cat that I normally use (although he is two levels lower so we'll see when I get him up), but he certainly is pretty.

Once he hits the same level, assuming you spec him the same as your other cat, they'll be identical.
