Hacked Update

It isn't pretty.

My main, Kakei, was transfered off Bronzebeard to another realm. A non-BB alt was also transfered to a new realm. I'm trying to get both transfered back to their proper servers.

Bronzebeard (my main realm) was wiped clean. They were all deleted. The lv55 nelf druid whom I haven't played in years, my bank alt and my rogue and pally alts who were both in the same guild as Kakei. The hacker even deleted poor little Snugglepuff who I never even logged in as, I was simply saving the name for my future worgen (poor little Puffy, he did nothing wrong!).

The hacker also helped himself to my guild's bank, which is what annoys me the most. Not only did the hacker try to wreck my game but he also tried to wreck it for others that are associated with me. Not cool.

Right now I'm trying to get Kakei transfered back to BB and the others undeleted. Then I get to start the process of bugging Bliz until my stuff, my gold and the guild's stuff is returned. I don't know how long it'll take but hopefully it'll be done before Winter Veil.

Hopefully they'll understand what happened since it seems to be getting more common nowadays (virtual money, hot commodity : p) My guild's actually taken to locking everyone out of the bank except officers, but of course even that wasn't enough when an officer got hacked : x

Semi-OT, but: Snuggle... puff. That is one of the scariest worgen names I've seen thus far ^^;

They seem pretty understanding right now. I know others in the guild have been hacked before but I can't remember if the bank was ever raided (it's been a while since the last hack happened).

Snugglepuff is going to be the meanest looking worgen that there is. Total badass. But will always be considered a joke among the Alliance due to his lame name. ^^

Give Blizzard time. If you explain what happened, and you know they locked down your account because they thought it was in trouble? You should have no problem getting everything put back the way it was. It might take them a while, but they will get around to it.

Yeah, I think that Blizzard will come though, I just worry. My main concern is getting Kakei transfered back to Bronzebeard (without paying for it). Gear and gold can be replaced but I'd be pretty upset if I had to pay real money to fix something that I never authorized.
