What's the best event in the Olympics?
Men's Moguls!
34 years! It's taken 34 years for a Canadian to win gold on Canadian soil! And now it's finally happened!
I'm still on bit of a high even though the race happened hours ago. I couldn't even watch it, I watched about half of his run and looked away for the second half because I was worried he'd fall like so many skiers had done throughout the day. And then it was heart-stopping waiting for the last skier since he had the best run in the Qualification Round.
For the past year, we've heard nothing but how we never won in Montreal and Calgary. Our entire theme has been "Believe". To finally get a gold is such a relief. Especially getting one so early in the Olympics.
