I hate it when a post is made to a comm and the OP decided to disable comments. Unless you're a mod, don't do it. It's unfair to the rest of the comm, especially when you're being whiny.

Everyone on LJ has their own journal, whine to your friends, make a private entry, do anything except make a no-comment entry to a comm that has 27,000 people.

In most communities I know, that's against the rules. Unless if it's like an art/fic/icon crosspost or something. In general, I don't think discussion posts like that fly.

Looks like the mods deleted it so I guess it was against the rules.

It was someone on free_manga saying that people should only use MU and MF when uploading manga. A good discussion could have developed on the subject over which downloading source is the best (since everyone has their own favourite) but instead the OP decided instead to whine and disable the comments.
