T&B Episode 23
I've been away on vacation all week and I'm pretty tired right now so I'm not sure how much of the following post is going to make sense.
This series is so predictable at times but that doesn't stop it from being awesome.
I love that 'Bunny' was the trigger. I knew that Barnaby would remember something when he heard Kotetsu calling him that but it was even better since Barnaby got all his memories back.
And I knew that Maverick was going to discard Barnaby when he no longer needed him. I considered that he would replace the other other Heroes as well but I didn't think he had that technology (I didn't think Rotwang would return and ally himself with a NEXT).
I've seen some disappointment at how easily Barnaby regained his memories. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved a lot of Barnaby angst (his tears taste like candy) as Kotetsu slowly got through to him and the whole thing take up the entire episode. But the way things did happen made sense. When the other Heroes regained their memories they also had a confused reaction, so it made sense that Barnaby would react in a similar way. I think the reason why Barnaby had so much trouble before was he had gone through 21 years of fucked up memories instead of two days (if that).
Tiger and Barnaby are going to defeat robo!Tiger, which in turn will save the other Heroes. Sunrise would be crazy if they don't continue the series and that's not going to happen if the majority of the cast is killed off.
I think Kaede is going to escape on her own. The last person we saw touching her was Blue Rose so it's possible she has Karina's powers. Even if another Hero touched her, any one of their powers would help her escape (well, except for Ivan).
If I think of anything else I'll make a new post like last week.
