Blood-C
One good about LJ being up and down these past few days was it finally gave me a chance to finish Blood-C. I started watching it a month or so ago but had been holding off on the last two episodes until I was able to watch them back to back.
Overall, I thought it was a good series. Better than Blood+, but I don't know how it compares to Blood: The Last Vampire, which I haven't seen.
The ending in particular was really great. I loved the ending.
I knew Fumito was going to be evil. Never trust the guy that goes ^___^ all the time. Especially when it comes to CLAMP. The guy is either evil (Seishirou) or hiding something (Fay). I suspected that his guimauve was made out of blood, but whose blood I didn't know (I thought it either human blood or Saya's).
I also figured that Yuka, Kanako and Saya's father were evil (although the latter reluctantly). Saya's father because I thought he had a thing going on with Fumito (hey, it's CLAMP, they love their BL!). Kanako because of ways she would look at Saya different times and Yuka because she simply seemed older than everyone in her class (which turned out to be canon).
I was however surprised by the twins, Itsuki and Tokizane. Especially Tokizane because he was set up as the "bad boy" who falls for the lead girl. I figured he would be the only one who believed in Saya before dying a horrible death. In the end he was just a dick.
One of the things I loved about the series was it felt like a classic CLAMP story. So many of their typical themes made it into the story. Crossovers (Watanuki), fake characters, things not being what they seem, a main character losing an eye, etc. Even though it was an anime instead of a manga you could definitely tell that the story was written by CLAMP.
Speaking of CLAMP themes, I hope Saya keeps her one eye for the movie that is being made. I really love the look she had at the very end of the last episode with her damaged eye covered. The thing that concerns me is Saya can heal her wounds. Hopefully Fumito used a special bullet that prevents it from healing.

Yeeeeeeeeeeees ♥♥♥ I loved that too, ajsdfk;
And the one preview pic for the movie shows Saya with her eye healed, so she might not have the eyepatch by then 8( There's always a chance it'll heal mid-movie, or by the end or something, though.
