Basically you're locked in a room (except for the game with the 2nd link) and have to figure out how to escape. Very addicting and you'll spend hours until you can figure the stupid suckers out. I'm still working on the last one ("The Doors").

There's another one you should try, called MOTAS. You can goggle for it... I forget the URL. It's not a "locked in a room" thing, but instead you're locked in multiple rooms and each area requires finding the right item to use in the right spot. Not as impossibly difficult as Viridian and Crimson etc. but a lot longer, and as long as your cookies are on you can just play a room at a time.
