Mini Rant
So out of sheer boredom, I clicked on the link that someone posted at KnY. It turned out to be a uke-Seto site so I didn't look at the content (thank god) but I did see this on the front page:
After all, there is no Yu-Gi-Oh! character with a more angsty past than our lovely CEO - I defy you to find me one.
Really huh? Umm......What about Bakura? He only watched his entire family and friends be slaughtered and their bodies melted down to become the Sennen Items when he was around 5 years old. Sounds like a lot more angsty past then what Seto ever went through.
Malik even has a more angsty past than Seto. The kid was forced to live underground with the knowledge he could never see the sun let alone venture outside, forced to study all the time, was put through a horrible ritual at 10 and was responsible for his father's dead (he probably feels guilty about his mother's death as well since she died giving birth). I don't see Seto's past being the cause of the creation of a psychotic yami.
Does Seto have an angsty past? YES. But certainly he doesn't have the most angst past out of all the characters and trying to gloat that he does makes you look like an idiot.
And people wonder why no one likes uke-Seto fans...

I actually like some of the fics that that site owner writes, though her depiction of Seto varies wildly all over the place. Her YamiSeto fic I really like, as well as the PegasusSeto one (waits for Rekall to run away shrieking).
BTW... me <- uke Seto fan. Obviously. I'm just less IN YOUR FACE about it :D

screw things updecide to put more angst in it. :pI really don't have a problem with uke-Seto fans (well except for the ones who completely make him weak, girly and is carried around by Yami). The comment from the site bugged me, especially the "I defy you to find me one" part, because it comes across as the person has an attitude problem, which I don't like.
