So out of sheer boredom, I clicked on the link that someone posted at KnY. It turned out to be a uke-Seto site so I didn't look at the content (thank god) but I did see this on the front page:

After all, there is no Yu-Gi-Oh! character with a more angsty past than our lovely CEO - I defy you to find me one.

Really huh? Umm......What about Bakura? He only watched his entire family and friends be slaughtered and their bodies melted down to become the Sennen Items when he was around 5 years old. Sounds like a lot more angsty past then what Seto ever went through.

Malik even has a more angsty past than Seto. The kid was forced to live underground with the knowledge he could never see the sun let alone venture outside, forced to study all the time, was put through a horrible ritual at 10 and was responsible for his father's dead (he probably feels guilty about his mother's death as well since she died giving birth). I don't see Seto's past being the cause of the creation of a psychotic yami.

Does Seto have an angsty past? YES. But certainly he doesn't have the most angst past out of all the characters and trying to gloat that he does makes you look like an idiot.

And people wonder why no one likes uke-Seto fans...

lol... but your right rekall, even though Kaiba has an angsty past... I think out of all of them Kura's is the most. I mean, as a kid he wathces his family get killed by the Pharaoh's men, then their souls used to make the Sennen Items, then he lives with that knowledge and the fact that the "Dead souls" seem to haunt him and feed off of him, then he has to fight Atemu, then he gets used to bring Zork out, then he too gets placed in the Ring for 3000 yrs only to reawaken in another time, with a host body, and goes after the Items once again.

One of those "childhood tramas" that goes on for 3000+ years.

Malik too... he's just screwed up and has to live a life of basically an underground slave with an abusive father.

But I like Uke Seto... if done right. Seen a few like that... Nenya (who has them switching) Miko (same) and this one story that I showed Miko "New Games" .... that was hot lol.

New Games is on ffnet. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1260628/1/ - sadly incomplete and frankly, I got lost on plot, but the "games" between Yami and Seto are hot.

If done correctly by a good author I can read any fic involving Seto and Yami even if Seto is the uke (although I perfer if he wasn't the uke throughout the story and instead they were switching roles).

Nenya is good, Mijo is good, Shakster is good and that's about all I can think of who can do Seto as the uke extremely well.

Well, Laryna6 does an uke Seto the first time they're together and I think it's IC in 'Forgiveness', but really you can't actually tell who's seme there from reading it.
