You know one thing I don't like when it comes to sexual things? Piercing.

See I just started watching this anime called Loveless (after finding a great site where I can download gay anime, hehe) and in it the masochist uke got catboy to pierce his ears. Me did not like that scene.

Piercing is up there with blood play for me and only like it when what I'm reading/watching is so hot I forget about it. That small little scene disturbed me more than the shouta content in the show (masochist uke is a University student who starts trying to seduce 6th Grader catboy after his lover aka catboy's older brother is killed and although that does sound bad it's actually a very sweet anime if you ignore the angst parts).

Well, I don't like bloodplay either, and some piercing I find questionable (when it's written where people are trying to do uh, intimate piercings in the comfort of one's own unsterilized kitchen counter ^^;;) but the ear piercing scene with Soubi and Ritsuka didn't bother me at all. The emphasis was on the symbolism of possession more than Soubi getting his rocks off from pain.

But... I do question Soubi's "sanity" in chasing after a kid, though Ritsuka is weirdly mature while being innocent at the same time. You gotta really feel sorry for Ritsuka though... not only is his mother a crazy bitch and his beloved brother dead, but he thinks he's insane and forgotten who he really is.

Best characters: Youji and Natsuo *rawr* So cute and hot at the same time!

I think Soubi lost part of it when Seimei died. Ritsuka I do feel sorry for. He needs Soubi since his life is so fucked up at the moment.

I have the manga too... the stuff with Ritsuka and his mom are even worse in there IMO. :( It's amazing Ritsuka isn't mentally worse than he is.

Blech, blood play always squicks me too. I don't mind bondage fun (handcuffs etc) but when it gets real I run away, lol. And... 6th grader? O_o

Blood and piercing freak me out the most. Blood because it's gross, piercing because...well, I don't know. Apparently I threw a fit when my mom had her ears redone when I was a children (I was too young to remember), I didn't get my own pierced until I was 13, and I've been building up the guts for 10 years to get another hole in each ear. I know it doesn't hurt, I just don't like it for some reason.

And yeah, *cough* I thought people were kidding when they said Loveless was shouta. Their relationship is sweet though (one sided too because catboy life is so angsty at the moment). They need each other after Seimei's death (catboy's brother, the other guy's lover and was the one who told Soubi to look after catboy). They're a fighting unit now and need a close bond for that. I imagine they'll eventually go after Seimei's killers.

Hmm, guess you wouldn't like it if Seto and Yami got some piercing done, eh? LOL! I've had my ears done 4 times each so far (I only have 2 holes right now though) and I love ear piercings in men, especially the less common ones (who wants to just have their lobes pierced? boring). And I want a navel ring for myself but probably won't ever get it, since no one would ever get to see it anyways :p

Maybe I should do that for Yami...

You know, if they didn't tell me Ritsuka was just a kid... I'd think he was older. Not like an adult, but maybe 15 or 16.

I actually do like piercing when it's been done it's the process and thinking about it that gets me, lol.

As for Ritsuka, I agree. Technically he would be around Mokuba's age but he certainly doesn't look like it. I would guess around 15/16 at the youngest for him if I didn't know better.

The guy's name is catboy? lol You know, it wouldn't be as weird (or at least it'd be more understandable) if it was a pervert going after a middle schooler... but it sounds like the older guy is uke, isn't he? Weird. There's some strange anime out there.

Catboy = Ritsuka. Everyone in that story has cat ears and tails, but once you lose your virginity they fall off ^^ So Ritsuka (thankfully) still has his ears and tail, but Soubi (the older guy) does not. And even more interesting... Seimei still had his ears in all the flashbacks you see.

Catboy is what I like to call him since the people in that world have cat ears and tail until they have sex. His actual name is Ritsuka and yup the older one is the uke even though he's out to seduce Ritsuka.

Well, the worst they do is kiss. And considering that Ritsuka really isn't much of a kid, I suppose it's okay. You actually see more action between the lesbian pairing in the story than the gay pairings LOL, and the lesbians are NOT virgins.

The artist is Yun Kouga. She also does Earthian and I have some fan art she did of YYH... she did an extremely pretty Kurama on the back cover of a DJ anthology.

Main charas in Earthian are Chihaya and Kagetsuya. Chihaya is the most irritating guy I swear -_- but Kagetsuya... oh man, talk about perfect boyfriend. He's cute, he's levelheaded, he's smart, he COOKS... *sigh*

I just saw some artwork and thought Ritsuka was short. I didn't know he was 12 but now it's too late, lol.
