I *swear* some people can't read!
kk, so I haven't been around these past few days because of random crap (friend of family died, some family member I never met died, Brandi being rushed to the vets because she took yet another reaction to her shots and finding out that doctors think my grandfather will die in a few weeks), so I've mostly just been reading manga and watching anime. But today I received a review that just had me laughing so hard I *have* to comment on it!
Background Info: A couple of months ago I was in search for a new fanfic archive and found a place called False Memories so to check it out I posted A Love Story to it and today I got my first review:
I think this stroy is...no offense...gay. Not because I don't like the story, beacause if you say Kaiba has a husband, that makes him gay, which, i think, makes the stroy gay. Kaiba would not have a husband! He's a guy! Maybe you should change it to the only daughter of the prime Ministeral. Other than that i like it! :)
LMAO! Can they not read?!?! Not only did I list Shonen-ai as a "warning" for the fic but also have it listed in the summary that it is a Bakura/Malik and Seto/Yami fic. I also find it hilarious that the only person they were concerned about being gay is Seto. Y'know I've only watched every episode of the anime and read all but a few books of the manga yet apparently I've somehow missed all the "obvious" straight stuff that Seto does. I could have swore that it was only Jou, Honda and Yugi who reacted to Mai when they first met her (as a side note: Ryou was also in that scene and did nothing, hehe cute little gay boy he is).

And obviously this person can't read because he/she/it managed to misspell "story" twice as well as "Prime Minister." And "because." And probably the only reasons the other words are spelled correctly is by sheer accident - I'll bet instead of "gay" she meant "cookie," and that's why she's mad. Not nearly enough cookies in the clearly labeled shonen-ai "stroy."
