Just a quick update.
My grandfather is going quicker downhill than expected so I've been busy most days running around town picking up things for my mom and aunt since they pretty much have to stick around the house taking care of him. Various family members also keep on stopping by so I've also been busy with that and my cousin who is a nurse (so she sees this type of thing a lot) figures he'll just let go now that he's seen everyone. Frankly that's what would be the best since you can tell that's what he wants. Slightly over a year ago he was really ill and the doctors figured he would die but he pulled through since he still had goals he wanted to achieve (seeing me graduate, reaching 90) but this time he has no goals. I'm going to miss him but I'm not really sad. He's lived a long life (90 and a half years) and I've always figured that death was simply the next adventure of something bigger. I believe not to mourn the dead but to celebrate their life.
Moving on...I haven't really been working on fics lately but I am going to write later today. I finished catching up on Naruto earlier this week (stupid Sai, I hope he really is dead and his body hanging from that tree wasn't a trick), which kept me busy plus I've been watching various anime. The FMA anime was one I've started watching but I find that it pales in comparison to the manga. Also after a 2 1/2 year search I finally found the Vision of Escaflowne, which makes me very happy. I fell in love with the story when I first watched the movie years ago and have been looking for the anime ever since. The only time I've come close to finding it was finding a lone French copy of the cropped up dubbed version in a store. It's not as pretty as most anime but I love the story. ^__^
Also since it's completely bizarre, I have to mention it....after a normal February, the weather here has gone weird! It's so warm here that you only have to wear a light jacket when you go out. Plus freaking flowers are growing! And robins are back! None of this stuff happens until usually mid-April! It's kinda scary actually as it's one of those 'too good to be true moments'. With weather this good I get the feeling that a huge snow storm is probably on its way within a few weeks.

Sorry about your grandpa, but you're right in that it's probably what he wants. I lost my grandfather a few months ago and I know he wouldn't have wanted me to be too upset, especially since when they're in pain death can be a relief...
So you finished Naruto then? I didn't expect Sai to live long - he and Yamato seem like Kimimaro, memorable characters but basically introduced only to die - but even though everyone hates him, I have to admit to having a soft spot for the little midriff-showing fruit. He amused me, making fun of Naruto's dick all the time, lol. (And when Naruto said, "Sasuke is way better looking than Sai!" it just made my little yaoi-loving heart squeal...)
FMA is good, too. I've read up to about chapter 11 or so, so far. Know any good fanfic for it?

I loved it when ever Naruto stood up to Sai about Sasuke. You can tell that Naruto is madly in love with Sasuke, hehe. I love it there's so many yaoi moments in the series, lol.
I've been looking for FMA fics but nothing stands out so far.

Yep, it was 80 yesterday; mid-70s today. It's spring here already. Unfortunately that means tons of bugs - I found three mosquito bites this morning, ugh...

And you're right, everyone is obsessed with Naruto. I kinda feel sorry for him. He has everyone who's wanting to jump him and all he wants to do is be with Sasuke. Such tragic love.
