The animation is pretty crappy in the original Weiss Kreuz (which is indeed Knights Hunter) and there are suppose to be a lot of plot holes but I say it's worth it (plus like I said Aya isn't nearly as hot as he is in the sequel where all the characters had to be redone do to legal issues :P). The story however is interesting enough to keep me hooked through all the faults. There's just something I like about 4 assassins working in a flower shop, lol.
Hmmmm, guess I'll shell out the $30, then. Like I said, the trailers look intriguing.... likewise, 'Mirage of Blaze', but that's another $30, and I haven't paid off my Diovan prescription yet.
if you dig assassins in the florist shop, you might want to check out "X-Kai" if you haven't already (Tokyopop manga).
Omi is cuter in the original design, though of course he was younger too.
Yohji is far far far far far far far hotter in the original. Hell, I'd do KEN over Yohji in Gluhen :p :p (I don't actually hate soccer boi, he's just my least favorite of the bunch).
Aya is still hotter to me with short hair, though I wish they animated him back when he was in Crashers with that hot trench that unzipped at the shoulders *drool* He's got such a S&M vibe about him, it's so hot.

Youji is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better in the original. He's a total slut in it unlike Gluhen when he's always so angsty. In Gluhen he got on my nerves because he was all 'Poor me!'; made me want to punch him. I like him as a slut, it suits him better. In the original he's my 2nd fav behind Aya.
Ken...lets just say I'm glad I saw him in Gluhen and Side B before watching the original. He's like the opposite of Youji, he sucks (well not suck, he just doesn't do a whole lot so I ignore him) in the original but is cool in those.
Aya is hottest at the end of Gluhen and in Side B. When he has bad ass clothes (I hate his jacket in the original as it does nothing for him) and short hair. I still need to find the stuff when he was in Crashers (Knight/Aya would make a hot pairing). I read Side B (which I wish more was scanlated) and the part from the manga where Aya joined Weiss (I loved how Youji was the one who started calling Ran 'Aya' since he wouldn't give him his name and how Aya and Ken got into a fist fight during their 2nd meeting), so now I need to read the Crashers stuff.
Who said I didn't like Schwarz? :P I gave a little squeal while watching Gluhen when their name popped up on a computer screen as I knew who they were (although I was highly disappointed when I saw that they were missing a member). Crawford and Schuldich are both yummy (both are better in the original as well). Nagi I also like like but he's too young for my taste in the original; I liked him better in Gluhen when he was older. Farfarello is fun simply because he's crazy. ^^
Yes, I don't like sulky Yohji. I mean, he's always been angsty, but acted like he wasn't (in orig.) and I always liked that dichotomy.
The backstory with Yohji and Aya is why people are all ga-ga about them as a pairing. After all, it's a little odd that Yohji chose to dump Aya in his bed, and he was the one who named him as well.
Exactly. Youji is angsty but he acts like he doesn't, which is what I like about him. He's not always moping around.
And I thought their backstory was great, lol. They obviously had a free room there since Aya gets his room the next day but Youji still insisted on dumping Aya onto his bed.
