but that's because I just got back from X-Men: The Last Stand. It's a pretty amazing movie. Phoenix was kick-ass as was the battle at the beginning in the Danger Room and the final battle at the end. I can't really say much besides that though since I know I'd end up giving up some spoilers. What I can say however that there is an addition scene after the credits that would set up for a 4th movie if they decided to do it (I know right now there are no plans for another one but things could change).

I must admit though I have a love-hate relation with the X-men movies. Mainly it deals with my issues of how Rogue is protrayed in them. She was my favourite character as a kid because I always thought it was pretty damn cool how she could use any power she wanted by touching a person, plus she had super strenght and could fly. But damnit she's suppose to end up with Gambit! He's her one true love! Not Iceman! Speaking of Gambit here's yet another movie he didn't make it in. The twins weren't in it either (though my fingers are crossed for an eventual 'Avengers' movie and I would rather have them in it), which means out of my four favourite characters from the series only one made who is not herself. But somehow I still end up liking the movies.

I saw the 'X-men' bit...and I thought...am not readig this post!!! Only cause am going to see the movie tonight. I missed the first show cause I had hospital!!! But gladly you didn't pose spoilers *glomps*

But Gambit's not in it!!! I loved Gambit!!!! And yes Rogue IS meant to be with him...not Iceman!

And yay for the Gambit love! Everyone seems to like him so I don't know why he never got into the movies. With each movie I'm always hoping that Rogue and Iceman break up but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet.

I gave up on the X-Men comics years ago, after the second round of the Marvel Mutant Massacre (TM pending)in the 90's.... plus I never did forgive them for resurrecting Jean Grey and turning Phoenix into a possessive cosmic entity, Yeeeeccchhhh!

I'll stick to manga, thank you!

Marvel Mutant Massacre...lol, I like the sound of that. I also gave up around the same time but when the movies started coming out a few years ago it renewed my interest. Especially when they started a new cartoon that started the series over from scratch but alas it was cancelled after 3 seasons due to politics (it was on WB, which owned the rights to the DC stuff and thus WB got pissed that a Marvel show was bringing in higher ratings than any of their DC ones).

I much perfer manga as well.

Haven't seen the movie yet but I've always been in love with Angel. I'm hoping he gets a lot of scenes in this... plus Hugh Jackman is love... and those are my reasons for wanting to see it.

*whispers* ...I can't stand Jean/Phoenix/slutwhore so I don't care about her... sorry... >_

Don't worry I don't really like Jean either.

Angel isn't in as much as some of them but his flying scenes are really cool.

Hugh Jackman was also really hot in it. ^_~
