Pictures - Round 1

Here's the first grouping of pictures from the Toronto Zoo. ^__^

This little guy, I'm sure is familiar to you Americans. He's the first animal you see upon entering the zoo and he's been there since 1981 when he was rescued after being hurt.

I really can't remember what this guy was called but he's in the Indo-Malaya section so he's from somewhere there.

Here's an Indian Rhino. There will be more pics of him later since he was far away when we first saw him and I wasn't too sure the power of my zoom. A trainer was over petting him which is why he looks like he's leaning up against the fence.

This is some sort of monkey also from the Indo-Malaya section of the zoo. I couldn't really get a good shot since there were so many people around as this is still pretty close to the enterence and there were a bunch of kids there on school trips.

A croc who starting too look really annoyed with all the kids.

An orangutan. I don't have much pictures of them since they were behind glass and harder to take. However....

I did manage to get the baby. ^^ He was born in Jan of this year and we really go t lucky since he's only out on the weekends, Tuesday and Thursday (which is the day we went).

And speaking of babies, here is a baby warthog! He was so adorable!

Elephants. (Note: there will be more of them later as like the Rhino they were far away but we went back for the "Meet the Zookeeper" thing for the Elephants and I got a bunch of pictures of them then.

Can't remember what these are but they're in Africa.

A Giraffe. (Note: Again there will be more of him later as we also went to the "Meet the Zookeeper" for him).

These are a type of seal. They look like Sea Lions but they're not, they'll closely related to them. (Note: I got a lot of pics of them because we were also at the "Meet the Zookeeper" for them, these are just a few of the 13 I got just of them).
