Alright, you all know I love WK, including Side B. I don't deny lovin' Aya and his various boyfriends (Knight, Yohji and Chloe). And I think I've whined before about how Side B is only out 4 times a year, making me unhappy since it's probably my favourite series (there, I admited it, I actually do have a favourite series). And I also think I've whined about how no one scanslates it and it's hard finding translations for each chapter since the fandom is tiny as Side B isn't avaliable in English and a lot of WK fans ran away screaming after Gluhen.

Now, like many fans after Gluhen I hated Yohji. They turned such a fun lovin' character into someone who was rather annoying, moping around all the time and who betrayed his teammates unless wrapping his wire around Aya's neck was a part of their kinky sex games. Let's face it that Yohji deserved to die and I think many fans were sad when he didn't.

That brings us to today.

See, the current chapter of Side B (which I've had raw for a month and a half) deals with the wedding of a childhood friend of Chloe's and during the wedding the bouquet gets caught by this girl and a hot guy standing next to her.







Now for a month and a half I figured they were just a random couple in at the wedding...until a half hour ago when a kind person linked me to a site with chapter translations and I found out that "hot random stranger in the crowd" is YOHJI! He and Asuka 2.0 were in England on their honeymoon and got invited because the bride wanted ordinary people invited to the ceremony! O_O

And to make me even more excited, I think Aya already knows since they had a bug planted on the bouquet (they're suppose to kill the bride's fiance) and he did not look happy at all when Chloe was teasing that it got caught by a Japanese couple so I'm betting he recognized Yohji's voice!

And... since this is Yohji we're talking about, Asuka 2.0 is probably going to die soon since he can never keep chicks alive.

I'm so torn now. Seeing Yohji again brings back all the love I had for him in the original but I'm still kinda bitter over Gluhen. But he's hot again, which he wasn't in Gluhen (although I still miss the hair). Hmm...maybe I should do what other fans do and pretend Gluhen doesn't exist. I'll just pretend how Aya and Ken got in KB to be one huge plot hole (this is WK and things wouldn't be WK without plot holes).

I'm shaking right now since I'm so excited.

Ugh, it's just stupid. I hate to say this, but it would have been better if he just died at the end of Gluhen, and that ends that. Better than seeing him as a bastardized version of himself. And you know I hate death endings, so for me to say he'd be better off dead... that's just... *sigh*

I think most fans feel he should have died. I really hated the Gluhen version of Yohji and couldn't figure out how you liked him until I saw the original and saw how different he was in it.

At the end of the Gluhen anime, Yohji wakes up in a hospital, his memory lost. He eventually meets a nurse (Asuka) there and marries her. We're told many times that he'll never get his memory back.

Also after Gluhen, Ken and Aya eventually make their way to England and join the group KB (Krypton Brand), which is somewhat similar to Weiss except that they can question their orders and not just be a mindless killer. This is what Weiss Side B is about.

Now although Omi has had the odd cameo in Side B, no one expected Yohji to show back up since he was living a new life, completely unaware of his past job as an assassin. And having him pop in out of no where, knowing his name (he took on a new name at the end of Gluhen since he couldn't remember his own) is causing brains to exploded because it means something will probably happen soon. And considering there was a big explosion at the end of the chapter, KR (he would be KB's Perisa-type person) is missing and Chloe seems to be in big trouble judging from Aya's reaction, that "big thing" will probably be in the next chapter which is still a few months away.
