So Tired
I ended up staying up to 5:30am last night reading Love Mode. I blame 'Ko and Lark (I think it was those two) because they were talking about it in chat one time (and I obviously can't take the blame myself). I read the first volume a while ago and only thought it was 'meh' but then last night I decided to give it another shot with volume 2 and found it began focusing more on Reiji and Naoya (and Kiichi! Love him!), who I found to be a lot more interesting.

'Love Mode' is about an escort service called the Blue Boy. Mostly the story deals with the relationship between the owner of the Blue Boy and Naoya, a homeless kid he finds, but there are other short stories throughout it that involves employees of the Blue Boy and clients. There's a lot of hot sex in it (I thought I was reading a dj at times since there was so much, lol).
Volume 1 is about a character named Izumi, who gets mistaken for an employee of the club by a client named Takamiya (who in turn gets mistaken by Izumi as his blind date). They go out, get drunk, have sex and afterwards they realize they had the wrong person. The rest of that volume is of Takamiya trying to get Izumi to fall in love with him. I actually found this volume pretty boring but it does introduce Reiji, Takamiya's best friend and owner of the Blue Boy, who is one of the main characters for the rest of the story.
Volume 2 is when things start picking up when Reiji breaks up with his girlfriend (she was cheating on him), she gets pissed so she throws a potted plant off her balcony trying to hit Reiji but ends up hitting Naoya instead who was passing by. Reiji takes Naoya to his doctor brother Kiichi who patches him up. Reiji offers to give Naoya a ride home who refuses since he has had a fear of cars ever since a few years earlier when he was the only survivor of a crash that killed his entire family. Reiji ends up following Naoya (to make sure he got home safe) and they discover that Naoya's apartment has burned down so Reiji offers him a place to stay and that's the beginning of their story.
There's like, four other couples that hook up during the story and a lot of back-story towards the end but it always seems to get back to Reiji and Naoya somehow, even when they're not the main focus of that particular volume. And there's like no girls in it (cheers). And only one of the guys in it is completely straight (cheers).

And you're lucky I'm a nice person because I'm putting up Love Mode on photobucket for you. I have Volume 1 up already but it's a pretty sucky volume (even the art sucks in it, which gets better a few volumes in) so I'll give you the link when I have at least Volume 2 up. :P

I read everything last night except for the extras, which I read today. I agree with you, Reiji and Naoya are definitely my favourite couple in it. That part where Naoya's grandfather shows up and takes him away nearly killed me. ^__^
