"My name is Alice!! I'm a man!!"

Oh man, I watched the best episode of Host Club last night. It was the one where my favourite pairing met and fell in love. Lots of glomping and giggling going on from Tamaki and plenty of homicidal rage from Kyouya (hey, it's not love if you don't have one wanting to kill the other!).

How adorable! Kyouya was just sitting there plotting how to take over the world when Tamaki came along and offered the massage! The "Fuyumi is..." part refers to Kyouya's older sister who seems to be very good friends with Tamaki. (note: Tamaki went on to say that she's worried about Kyouya but that's not important to the fangirl squealing).

Aww how cute! Why are they calling each other Mom and Dad? B/c they're Pres. and VP of the club?

I read the first chapter of this last night actually; it was really cute - though it reeaaally seems like that girl is a lesbian. I mean, no straight girl would ever just let ppl dress her up as a guy and flirt with girls like that, lol. Which is weird b/c it seems like the pairing was supposed to be Tamaki/her. (I forgot her name already, lol.) I think the twins are my favorite so far, though.

Well, Tamaki views the Host Club as his family since he really doesn't have one for himself.

He's the result of an affair and even when his father divorced his 1st wife, Tamaki's grandmother (who's head of the family) refused to allow him to marry Tamaki's mother. Therefore until he was 14 he lived in France with his mother when his mother's family started losing money and around the same time his mother became ill. His grandmother then stepped in and said she'd proved them with money, which included paying for his mother's treatment if Tamaki returned to Japan to be the heir to the Suou family and if he never had any contact with his mother ever again. Tamaki agreed since his mother was so sick and moved to Japan where he's forced to live all alone in the Suou's 2nd mansion because his grandmother hates him and refuses to allow him inside the main mansion let alone live there; shortly after his mother recovered and then disappeared. Later on in the manga he mentions at one point that it's been 3 months since he saw his father even though his father is the chairman of Ouran and works on campus, so he literally has no family of his own that he sees on a daily basis.

Therefore he made the Host Club into his family with himself as the father, Kyouya as the mother, the twins as their sons and Haruhi (I always forget her name too) as their daughter. (Honey and Mori aren't a part of it, I guess because they're older than Tamaki and Kyouya).

I agree that Haruhi seems like a lesbian. Later on you'll get to the part where an all girl school (where they admit being lesbians) becomes interested in her and the Host Club is worried that Haruhi will leave them as they realize she has a lot of similarities with them. As for Tamaki/Haruhi at first I thought that would be the pairing too but now I'd be surprised if it turned out that way. Tamaki really does see her more as a daughter than a love interest and I think that if they did become romantically involved it would destroy their current relationship, which is a lot more interesting than your normal main girl/main guy getting together.

The twins I loved in the beginning but I found they get annoying at times. They're definitely the biggest sobs of the group, often only caring of themselves and Haruhi (Kaoru isn't as bad as Hikaru though). I still love them, they just aren't my favourite anymore. Tamaki on the other hand I didn't really care for in the beginning (he was kinda annoying) but ended up lovin' him the most. He's so stupid, it's adorable and has such a big heart the way he always insists on helping people (even the evil ones).
