Slasher Movies

You know they just don't make slasher movies like they use too. Back in the old days it was all about playing with shadows, lame effects, creepy music and staring kids you actually cared about instead of filling them with the annoying kind who you want to get killed by Freddy/Jason/Michael.

Freddy vs Jason is really lame compared to Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. I should have rewatched Lost Boys instead. >_<

Hehe, I find the old ones to be so bad they're good. They're so cheesy they won a place in my heart. Newer slasher movies are just bad bad.

I think Halloween is the high point of that genre. I LOVE that movie!

I love Halloween too! It's my favourite out of the slasher movies. ^__^

Not a slasher fan myself... gore is a major ick to me. :P But I did go watch the Grudge 2 last night and actually liked it. Veeery easy to make fun of but it had a good plot. Psychological/supernatural thrillers are my favorite kind of scary movie... i.e., the Sixth Sense, stuff like that - not really scary but nice and creepy.
