For the Horde...?
A ten day demo version of WoW is currently being downloaded. If the brother and I like, he's buying it. Could this be the beginning of a new addiction?
-------
Speaking of new addictions I've been watching GetBackers lately.
I first heard of it awhile ago but figured all the yaoi squealing was just exaggeration by the fans. Then a few weeks ago on
khfanficrants while talking with someone about a anti-yaoi fanbrat who liked things like TRC, DN Angel and other animes with canon gay couples and/or strong subtext, GetBackers was jokingly brought up by the other person, wondering why that wasn't listed as well.
That started my GetBackers quest that ended rather quickly since I couldn't download it from the site I found and ended up watching D.Gray-man instead (and then reading that manga).
Eventually though I found it on mIRC and am now up to ep 20 and fans definitely weren't exaggerating on the subtext. The two main characters, Ban and Ginji, are so much in love. They're freaking adorable; they spent most of this current arc apart and Ginji spent half the time crying for "Ban-chan". There was a lot of glomping involved when they were briefly reunited.
Then there's the other gay couple Kazuki/Juubei (the manga-ka even said himself that he considers them canon). They showed a flashback of when they met as children and Juubei got that embarrassed "I like you" look on his face (you know the one I'm talking about) since he thought Kazuki was a girl; and I'm really glad even the characters thought he was a girl at first since I've never had a problem of telling guys from girls apart before (some people seem to have so much trouble; like I've heard that people have mistaken Kanda from D.Gray-man as a girl before which boggles my mind) until Kazuki who I thought was a girl until I heard him speak.
Shounen series with gay involvement is always made of win.
