I got jumped from behind by six Alliance members tonight while I was attacking another enemy. Although I was in a Contested Zone, I figured I was safe since it's right next door to Horde Territory and I've been there other times and have seen no Alliance. They got someone else who was near me too and we ended up laughing over it.
The thing is you can't help but laugh since it's all part of the game. I'll get my revenge at some point since that's how it goes, you get killed by the Alliance and then you can kill them.
Afterwards though when I was back in Horde territory but still marked as PvP (when you come out of a Contested Zone you stay marked for a few minutes) I ended up passing a Lv ?? Alliance guy on the path. Easily he could have kicked my ass since I was marked but he simply waved as he ran passed and for the second day in a row I was thankful for supercool Alliance players.
Also there's all these Valentine decorations up for St. Valentine's Day and it's kinda hilarious since the Horde doesn't have the greatest landscape (think a dark forest that never sees the sun and an African setting with a bunch of huts) and there's all this pink decorations up everywhere and you get special quests of transporting love letters between different NPCs. It's really weird to be walking through say an Undead city, which is in ruins with all these zombie type characters around and then see pretty pink flowers and banners.

The V-Day thing won't last long, so at least you don't have to look at hearts and flowers all the time. Outlands doesn't even have V-Day, so I haven't really noticed... ^^;

I wouldn't call that anti-PvP, I'd call it smart! 2 Alliance vs 6 Horde isn't good odds unless there's a huge gap in levels.
