Count Cain

I finally started reading Count Cain (I'm about 3 volumes in). It's really good but I have a question for anyone who's read it. On Wikipedia it says that at the end Cain hands over the title of Count to his sister... So what happens to Cain then? Does he die? Does he and Riff disappear into the night for some hot man sex? What?

To my knowledge, Cain and Riff both die in the end. Riff was going to die anyway, buildings were falling down, and Cain stayed with him instead of escaping. At least that's the impression I got from the text translation. There could be something else going on I was missing.

Knowing the manga-ka, that ending doesn't really surprise me. Cain and Riff dying together is better than one dying and one living (do you hear me CLAMP?).

Yep, they die together happily ever after. You learn while reading the series that Riff only lives for Cain and Cain only lives for Riff. ^^

Kaori Yuki is at least a little bit more thoughtful towards her characters than CLAMP. >:\

That's good they die together. I hate it when one dies and not the other *glares at CLAMP*. I mean I would rather have both live but together is together even when they're dead.

Yay Count Cain, my favorite Yuki Kaori manga.

Read it, after that read read Boys Next Door, Kaine and Ludwig Kakumei. you would love it.^^

I've read Boys Next Door, it was really good.

I've been a fan of her art style for years but when I first got into reading manga, brother/sister incest squaked me so I never actually read anything of hers until about a month ago. I've only read Boys Next Door and a few volumes of Count Cain right now but I'm really enjoying her stories.

lol Angel Sanctuary made many people squick. The last of Cain serie called God Child. As other comments said, they died together. KurehaDoll found Riff skeleton hugging (peacefully sleep looking)Cain and he grabbed Cain's ring to give it back to Mary in the end.
