(no subject)

fanficrants is annoying me (again). The comm has gotten to a point where every other rant is ranting about rape in fics and I really just want them to all shut up.

Don't get me wrong, rape in fics does suck since 90% of the time it has the victim falling in love with the rapist or the victim's true love uses healing sex to cure him/her after being raped. But there's no reason to post a rant on the subject when someone else has done it two entries below (and someone else two entires below that one and so on).

This actually goes for any subject. If someone has already posted say a Eriol/Tomoyo rant in clamp_rants there's no reason to post another rant on it a few days later unless you have something new to bring to a rant (like a new brain-dead theory that you've never seen anywhere else before that "proves" Eriol/Tomoyo is canon).
