Gate 7 Chapter 8

(I've been away so I'm currently playing catch-up.)


I don't have much to say about this chapter, except that I love the way the story is shaping up.

Sakura: Since it didn't come like before go easy on me.
Tachibana: If it does, I'll bury you with my own hands.

When it comes to CLAMP that's practically a love confession. It reminds me of that one KuroFay scene from Acid Tokyo where Fay wants to die and Kurogane's like 'If you want to die so badly, I'll kill you myself so live'. CLAMP loves showing love through violence.

I also liked this line:

Sakura; When this is over I'll lick your injuries for you.

CLAMP certainly likes keeping yaoi fangirls happy!

Gouhou Drug/Drug & Drop

Whoa, in twenty pages, more plot happened in one chapter than in the entire third volume. Don't get me wrong, I like Volume 3 but it's basically filler since Kazahaya and Rikuou are off doing their own thing that is unrelated to the plot. Plus Kakei and Saiga weren't in it.

It's so nice seeing everyone together again. I love it when Kakei and Saiga tease Kazahaya.
